SPANISH LEAGUE ROUND 38. PREVIEW

Spanish Football has another great "weekend" of matches to look
forward to with "La Liga". Strange this round 38, it´s split up between
Saturday, 2 matches on Tuesday & 1 next Friday: there is a suspended
match from Round 34 between Barcelona - Seville in there as well. We
hope all this does´nt confuse our readers.Hopefully the below fixture
may clear things up for you.
Although you are correct to assume that this is THE FINAL round for
2005/06, the final match to end the season will be played next Friday
between Barcelona - At.Bilbao.

Barcelona play Seville FC this Saturday to retake the suspended Round
34 match due to adverse weather conditions. Barça will go to Seville
without 8 star palyers (Ronaldinho, Eto´o, Marquez, Pujol, Deco...etc),
all being saved for next Wednesdays European Cup Final against Arsenal.

Seville then finish their season when Real Madrid visits them next TUESDAY.
Real need to win to secure 2º spot, while Seville attempt to get into the
top 4 with access to Champions. Today Real trained without Zidane, Ronaldo,
Beckham & Guti,however they are confident off getting there in time by
next Tuesday

Other interesting matches is the Osasuna - Valencia match, that will
have direct effects on the Top 4 placings, & the all important Alaves-
Deportivo & Espanyol - R.Sociedad matches. Two points separate
Espanyol - 17th placed - & Alaves- 18th place; Espanyol must win to
stay in 1º Division/ or Alaves lose. Alternatively, Alaves must win &
Espanyol loss or draw. But what is certain that one of them will join
Cadiz & Malaga to 2º Division.
