FIFA GOLDEN BALL 2010 | XAVI HERNANDEZ ANDRES INIESTA APPARENT HOT FAVOURITES

There seems to be two firm favourites for this years “FIFA Goleen Ball” 2010. According to Barcelona based Sports daily “Sport” (couldn’t be any other ) two FC BARCELONA players XAVI HERNANDEZ & ANDRES INIESTA will be “fighting” it out. Apparently, the votes have been already done & shut between the World Press journalists with “France Football” “sources” hinting that Iniesta has the advantage. However, the same daily mentions, that the voting from World Team Captains & National Coaches gives Xavi Hernandez the edge. In any case everyone has until the 30th of November to decide their vote with two decisive matches beforehand: tonight’s Portugal vs. Spain Friendly International & the Spanish League “Classic” between FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid.

On the 6th of December it is scheduled the announcement of the Top 3 candidates after all the votes have been filtered & counted. The winner will be given his award the 10th of January in Zurich in a star studded ceremony of World Football.
