SPANISH FOOTBALL SPORTS BLOG REACHES 3 MILLION VISITORS

Spanish Football Sports Blog started out many years back as a way off getting across to the World fans news on Spanish Football & Spanish Sports in English. I realized that not everyone understands Spanish & decided to write in English to get across to a wider audience. I too years back "suffered" from not being able to get updated news when living overseas & missed a source that would give me quick bullets (summaries) of information on results, news, transfers...& Spanish National Football team endevours.

This blog is a one man effort, a hobby, & I have enjoyed it enourmously since starting. I have learnt, shared, inter-changed ideas, been written by the most fascinating people from around the globe & expanded the channels via Social Media which has given a wider & diverse audience.

Today the blog celebrates its 3.000.000 visitors. This a figure that was beyond my thoughts at the beginning & thus from here I would like to thank all the regular readers for their support & all the visiting readers for coming in & sharing. THANK YOU!

SPANISH FOOTBALL SPORTS BLOG reaches a historical milestone that I never even would have imagined when I began this wonderful adventure. Today the site-statistics show that the blog has passed 2,000,000 historical unique visits.


Mind blowing for myself with a site that reaches the global & has readers from all the continents. I can only say THANK YOU, for your support, loyalty, fantastic comments & all the hard edged criticisms. Whatever the case, promoting Spanish Football & Sports has been the prime motive & the aim has always been to get it out to all four corners of the World in English so you dont have to miss out on anything even if you don´t command the wonderful language of Spanish.

Thanks to all the supportive e-mails from Spaniards overseas who say that their daily dose of updates comes directly from this site. Thank you , thank you...

With your support, I will now try for the 3,000,000 mark, although the objective is already achieved if only one, just one person from here onwards visits & gets his/ her daily dose of Spanish Football news. I am beginning the challenge from this very moment...

I would never have imagined this "hobby" would get so far. There are people who dislike the blog - naturally, would not expect anything else - but the majority show their daily /yearly support by their continued readership, RSS Feeds, participation & comments & their participation/activity on the SFS Social Media channels ( Facebook, Twitter, YouTube...etc). Thank you everybody  as this keeps me going & I will attempt to maintain the level that has made the Blog get this far.

Hi guys. Slow day here in Spain today with the Spanish Football - Soccer news. The only big thing hitting the Spanish Sports papers are the alleged & supposed "doping" acusations to the three time Spanish Tour De France cyclist Alberto Contador. Something he denies as "food contamination" & that the ICU has to study further with more examinations. Remember, one is innocent until proven guilty.
