ATLETICO DE MADRID TRANSFER RUMOURS | ADRIAN & LJAJAC

Atletico de Madrid forward Adrian maybe on the verge of moving to Italy. Although the Spanish Football Club comments they have no offer, Spanish Sports media indicate that AC Roma is very interested in the forward as a substitute for departed Osvaldo. The Spanish player is "plan B" in case first objective Gilardino of Genoa fails.

But Roma is not the only Club interested, Valencia CF has also shown interest & local Football insiders comment that this option is a viable & attractive for the player. Stay tuned!

While some locally had this a done deal, the signing of Fiorentina player Adem Ljajic may have complicated itself with the "arrival" of Italian Club AC Milan on the scene. Atletico has offered around 10M€ for the 21 year old Serbian but an apparent  "pre-agreement" with Milan may "torpedo" the whole operation. This last piece of news comes out of Italy but its serious enough to have the Atletico de Madrid officials concerned with this signing. Stay tuned!

RAFAEL NADAL WINS HIS SIXTH ROMA MASTERS 1000 TITLE

Playing on a Monday at 12.00 makes it difficult for the working folk ( myself included ) to watch a great Final of Tennis. That was the case for the ROMA MASTERS 1000 Mens Final between NOVAK DJOKOVIC & Spaniard RAFAEL NADAL as it was delayed from Sunday due to the bad weather.

Spanish Sports & Tennis got a great boost with the news that Nadal shook off the "Djokovic Finals Boogy" & managed to defeat the Serb in 2 hours & 21 mins with a 7-5 6-3 final score. Yes, Djokovic had a bad day & made plenty of mistakes but Nadal managed to get the psychological edge,  played great & of course was playing on his favourite surface which is clay .

The victory gives Nadal his sixth Roma title & puts him back into the Nº2 World Ranking position, plus it gives the Spaniard a boost for the upcoming Roland Garros Tournament.

SPANISH SPORTS | DJOKAVIC WINS NADAL AGAIN IN THE TENNIS ROMA 1000 MASTERS FINAL

SPANISH SPORTS, & especially the Tennis fans, are having a name "tattoed" on their forehead: NOVAK DJOKAVIC. The Serb managed to beat last years ROMA TENNIS MASTERS 1000 Champ & Spanish Nº1 RAFAEL NADAL 4-6 4-6 for a 4th straight time in a Final this year. The Serb is in a "State of Grace" that will take him soon onto the Nº1 World Spot if he can win the upcoming French Open, plus the surface does not seem to be a handicap at all as Djokavic has won on all types, except grass & that may not be a problem either.

Spaniard Rafael Nadal did not play badly at all, what occurred is that Novak just played better & seems to have the "mental" edge that gives the Serb wings. The only upcoming worry for Nadal in their future "head-to-head" matches is that Djokavic has overcome the "Nadal unbeatable on clay factor" & Nadal may be haunted with doubt in his play against his current rival.

Either way, the Tennis fan is the big winner here as both are giving spectators Tennis from another "Galaxy". We all now look forward to the French Open & if they will meet again. This time the Nº 1 World Tennis Ranking is up for grabs. Tweet
