RAPHAEL VARANE THE DARLING OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CLUBS

Real Madrid French International Central Defender Raphael Varane is considered one of the Best defenders in World Football. Young, quick, solid & full of confidence the player has two giants of World Soccer focusing on him.

Manchester United, who is said will be Coached next season by Jose Mourinho, is said to be preparing a 35M€ offer to get the Frenchman over to "Old Trafford". The other Club is Bayern Munich who will be taken over by Coach Carlo Ancelloti, is also said to be very interested 

Raphael Varane has worked under both Coaches & has obviously impressed.

While Varane is not a permanent starter at Real Madrid, I would bet the defender ain´t going no where fast. Firstly, current Coach Zidane was the person that brought him over to Real Madrid. Secondly, while Varane interchanges with Pepe, the future is Varane. Thirdly, from Real Madrid there are few places to leave too. Fourthly, the defender is worth around 60€, much more than the said offers.

The player via his agent may be playing poker with these signing interests to get a better & renewed contract with Real Madrid, claim a more permanent role or just receive more tender loving care.

REAL MADRID | MOURINHO PREFERS LOPEZ OVER CASILLAS PLUS SLAMS PEPE

Explosive press conference given this mid-day by Real Madrid Coach José Mourinho. A press conference that has given media overkill material for headlines & speculation with special hammering for current Real Madrid Captain & goalkeeper Iker Casillas & defender Pepe, the latter who defended Casillas with comments after the last Liga match last weekend.

In a nutshell, Mourinho let known that he has no problem with Iker Casillas at all, simply that he likes more Diego Lopez as a goalkeeper & he makes the decision as Coach. Plus he sent a "shiver" down the spine of many players & media observers ( & perhaps the Club ) insinuating that he may actually stay at Real Madrid next season.

Here are some true gems ...selected Mourinho comments which I have translated to English. 

"Me planteo seguir y siempre jugará Diego López conmigo"
"I am thinking in staying,  & Diego Lopez always would play with me"

I think the "I am thinking of staying" is very ironic & sarcastic ( even humorous ) from Mourinho.

When asked about Pepe:
“Su problema tiene un nombre: Rafael Varane”.
"His problem has a name: Rafael Varane"

He later when on to say that the future defensive line of Real Madrid is Varane & Sergio Ramos.

Then he put the final boot in ( nail in the coffin ) for Pepe with:
"No es fácil para un hombre de 31 años, con status y un pasado, ser atropellado por un niño de 19 años".
"It is not easy for a man (player) of 31, with status and a past, be "run-over" by a 19 year old boy" (Varane)

Devastating for Pepe , & just as nightmarish for Iker Casillas.

Mourinho maybe "bluffing" that he will stay at Real Madrid next season as a tactic to stop players speaking out in public before the important Spanish Cup Final against Atletico de Madrid on Friday 17 May. Or not!

Either way we are in for some exciting & explosive stuff in coming days & weeks.

REAL MADRID | RAPHAEL VARANE

Been wanting to give this man space on the blog with a post for some time. RAPHAEL VARANE is a magnificent defender, top notch for REAL MADRID with an extraordinary future. The young Frenchmen came 100% backed by Zidane who spotted him in French Football & then spoke wonders of the 17 year old player when in Lens. Although his inner circle believed to was too early to make the jump to a Club with the dimension of Real Madrid , player was convinced & the Spanish Club only paid 10M€. A bargain seen what has been seen to date.

Tall, agile, cold-blooded, aggressive when needed & talented with his feet the defender is a solid guarantee whether in Liga, Spanish Cup & Champions League. He adapts & fits in well whether it be alongside Pepe, Albiol & Sergio Ramos & if needed will fill the right back position.

Simply amazing for a 19 year old who has already been called up to the French National Team on a few occasions.

REAL MADRID SIGNS YOUNG FRENCH DEFENDER RAPHAEL VARANE

Busy day yesterday for young 18 year old French central defender RAFAEL VARANE. The now ex LENS player landed in Madrid close to 15.00 & was rushed for his medical exam & then droven to the "Santiago Bernabeu Stadium" were he signed his new six year contract with REAL MADRID. From here back in a car & to the airport to fly back to France.

The price for Real Madrid was 10M€ & the youngster came thanks to Zinedine Zidane who commented that Varane is destined for bigger & greater things. So much so, that the ex Real Madrid player compared the young defender to the great Blanc who gave such admirable services to FC Barcelona & to French Football.

With the incorporation of Varane, Real Madrid has "overbooking" of defenders & will have to see who from their list they needed to find a "new home" elsewhere. At the moment Garay looks like being the one soon to leave the Club with perhaps another to be confirmed.

REAL MADRID HAS LENS DEFENDER RAPHAEL VARANE AWAITING PLAYERS OK

According to articles published today on SPANISH FOOTBALL & SPORTS press REAL MADRID is a "stones throw" away in signing LENS French defender & young 18 year old sensation RAPHAEL VARANE. Real Madrid is simply awaiting that the players family approve the players move to Spain.

Here is the run down. French Club Lens has been relegated this season to the French 2º Division. According to French Football Federation rules, Lens which is financially in a tight situation needs to satisfy certain financial guarantees in order to play next season. In the French Clubs budget forecasts to hand into the Fottball authorities, 10M€ is already pencilled in as income for Lens from the sale of their young star Varane to Real Madrid. In fact, the Spanish Football Club has already placed the necessary financial guarantees in the Lens bank account to concur with their budget forecast projections.

The player comes recommended to Real Madrid by advisor to the Club President & first team liason  with players, the legendary Zinedine Zidane. The only possible obstacle that exists is the players mother, who prefers that her son of only 18 years stay in France & play at Paris St Germain were Varane has an offer.
