FC BARCELONA 2012 | JAVIER MASCHERANO

The Argentine International JAVIER MASCHERANO came over from Liverpool FC to FC BARCELONA as a midfielder way back 2010. Since then the player has matured, vastly improved & has consolidated himself as a central defender, one of the Best in Europe. The decision by ex-Barça Coach Guardiola to give defensive responsibilities to the Argentine has changed the whole Football career of the player, giving Mascherano playing time, important titles, prestige & soon a 100th games mark for Barcelona.

Tonight under the impressive back drop of the "Santiago Bernabeu Stadium", against REAL MADRID & in the 2º leg of the Spanish Super Cup, Javier Mascherano could reach ( if he plays, which is an almost certainty ) his 100th game with Barça. Plus, if his team can manage the victory, the opportunity to celebrate the personal  milestone with another title to his name.

FC BARCELONA LIVERPOOL FC COME TO AN AGREEMENT TO TRANSFER JAVIER MASCHERANO

FC BARCELONA & LIVERPOOL FC have come to an initial agreement for the transfer of midfielder JAVIER MASCHERANO. The English Club has "given" official permission for Barça to talk with their player so they can shut an agreement. It is expected that this part will have very little problems & that Javier Mascherano will fly to Barcelona this weekend to pass the medical exams & sign.

The deal is rumoured to be around 22M€ + variables according to achieved “objectives”. The player will receive a 4 year contract with a yearly salary of 5.5M€. This signing suits the desire of Coach Guardiola who wished a substitute for the departed Yaya Toure who went to Manchester City.

FC BARCELONA 2010 | MASCHERANO CLOSER IBRAHIMOVIC UP IN THE AIR

The key message is that LIVERPOOL FC Argentine midfielder JAVIER MASCHERANO will not play in tonight’s Premier League game against Manchester City, instead of the official Club announcement that Liverpool has rejected the initial offer from FC BARCELONA. The offer is said to be 15M€ + variables + player Hleb which is estimated to be around 20M€ +/-, an offer that Liverpool has rejected “for the moment”.

FC Barcelona has come to an agreement with Mascherano, but needs to make an offer to Liverpool FC before the Spanish Club can count on the services of the Argentine. The English Club has left open the door with their announcement that Mascherano will not play tonight thus supposing that Barça will soon be making a second & better offer. In my opinion, everything looks set for Javier Mascherano to sign for FC Barcelona before the closing of the transfer window; it is just a matter of agreeing to the “right” price.

On other front, AC MILAN has acknowledged that they have entered conversions with FC BARCELONA for forward ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC. The Italian Club travels to Barcelona to play Barça next Wednesday in their “season friendly opener for their members” – The Gamper Trophy – where both Clubs will discuss face to face the future of the Swedish International. FC BARCELONA TRANSFER GOSSIP 2010 | OZIL ROBINHO MASCHERANO?

SPANISH FOOTBALL Clubs keeps working away for next season while the World Cup takes all the spotlight. After surfing the web & checking the Spanish Sports press I pick out these news pieces that although enter the rumour category they should´nt surprise anyone. The South African World Cup is afterall the biggest showcase of “Football Product” & German 21 year old International midfielder OZIL has apparently caught the eye of FC BARCELONA. According to English newspapers – picked up locally by the Barcelona Sporting papers – FC Barcelona has shown interest & join other Clubs Chelsea FC, Arsenal & Manchester City in attempting to get the young palyer over to Barça.

Local Spanish daily “AS” even gives details of the offer: 2 players Hleb & Henrique plus offer WERDER BREMEN a one year loan of Ozil. That is, Barça buys now & allows the youngster to continue developing his Football at his current Club to later incorporate into the Barça squad for the 2011- 2012 season.

Staying with FC BARCELONA & the transfer gossip circulating the European market, the Spanish Club has apparantly made MANCHESTER CITY A 22M€ offer for Brazilian International ROBINHO. Plus FC BARCELONA has made a preliminary offer of 25M€ to LIVERPOOL FC for Argentine International midfielder JAVIER MASCHERANO. Apparently the player is determined to play only for Barça if his current Club favours the move due to their economic difficulties.

Therefore stay tuned for developments, as these “news flashes” are just RUMOURS & SPECULATIONS; try keeping all this in mind before getting too excited with these reports. SPANISH COACH RAFA BENITEZ LEAVES LIVERPOOL FC | PELLEGRINI, MASCHERANO, FERNANDO TORRES, STEVEN GERRARD ... NOW WHAT?

Source: Sp Ftball Sprts Blog / With Spanish Coach RAFA BENITEZ coming to an “agreement” with his LIVERPOOL FC Chiefs & thus leaving the Club after 6 years of loyal service a whole bag of questions have sprang up in the air that from here (Spain) have some speculative answers that may interest English & World readers alike if they have´nt already been raised in England:

1. Rafa Benitez looks set to take over the helm at INTER MILAN
2. Mascherano maybe the player that the Spanish Coach may take with him to Inter Milan
3. Ex - Real Madrid Coach Manuel Pellegrini is said to interest Liverpool FC
4. Steven Gerrard may now have the door open to leave the Club & go to Real Madrid. The price has been set according to media to be 30M€
5. Steven Gerrard may stay at Liverpool FC as Rafael Benitez is no longer at Liverpool FC.

6. Fernando Torres could be sold to Chelsea FC for a cool 70M€. This last point has gained strenght in the last hours.

As you can see, some huge questions are out there that will certainly give media plenty to talk about in the coming weeks in England & in Spain. The latter is due to the Spanish connection of Benitez, Torres , Pellegrini & Gerrard with Real Madrid.

FC BARCELONA HAS LIVERPOOL FC MASCHERANO IN MIND

SFS enjoys the off season; there are soooo many stories & rumours
on possible transfers that it is emotional, & frustrating! Here is one
from Argentina, specifically the newspaper “Clarin” which has gone
“viral” & now is on local daily “As” on its digital edition.

Apparently FC BARCELONA Coach Guardiola gave a call to LIVERPOOL
FC & Argentina Captain JAVIER MASCHERANO to sound out his opinion
on changing Clubs. The Argentine midfielder is very much admired at
“Camp Barça” & it is said that talks have began at the Club level. The
English Club is in “financial troubles” & are vulnerable to the “sirens”
of the European Clubs calling on their big players & putting the money
on the table. Ahhh money, the root of all evil!
