Brazilian 19 year old International Footballer Gabriel Jesus is closer to being a new player of Real Madrid according to latest Soccer rumour. Alexandre Mattos, Football Director of Brazilian Football Club Palmeiras is currently Madrid, according to Brazil Sports paper "Globoesporte".
The intention of Palmeiras is to talk with Real Madrid, furthering the distance with the other interested Spanish Club FC Barcelona. Real Madrid has intervened in the middle of the negotiation operation with Barça & seems to have gotten the upper-hand.
There are four Clubs - Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern Munich - fighting it out with a 24 million euros price tag which will rise in coming days.
The transfer operation is very complex. The player's rights are scattered between agents which have 55% palyers shares, 15% goes to the player and the Club has 30%. This means that an additional 10M€ will need to be considered on top of the estimated 25M€ transfer price. Plus the player desires to be allowed on loan to Palmeiras a further year & half after signing.
Will Real Madrid finally be the winner? Stay tuned!
