Spanish Football Club Atletico de Madrid, along with Real Madrid, are under the threat of a 1 year no-signing penalty from FIFA because of alleged under age player signings. Just like Real Madrid, Atletico is currently active in the transfer market ensuring to secure talent in case the FIFA sanction goes through.
The latest rumour is that Atletico de Madrid is negotiating with Croatian Club Hajduk Split over young 18 year old Football player Andrija Balic, & right here in the city of Madrid! As expected other Clubs have shown their interest like Juventus & Tottenham Hotspurs, but Atletico de Madrid seems to be in the driving seat.
The mentioned economic figure is around 4M€, a bargain in these crazy times of Football signings. If young Balic matures to be the star that everyone believes he will be, the initial investment could be "peanuts" compared to the potential benefits.
