The player returns to At Madrid after a short stint at Chelsea FC were he did not fully fit in with the plans of Coach Mournho. Meanwhile Atletico Coach Simeone was never fully convinced with substitute Siquiera & thus the "buy back option" suited both Clubs.
The deal is reported to be around 16M€ & now depends on Atletico finding a new destination for Siquiera. Stay tuned!
Meanwhile staying with Atletico the next signing may soon be Paris St Germain veteran midfielder Thiago Motta. If the player does sign it would another case of a Footballer returning to Atletico.
