With the Spanish Football season over, we enter the period of transfer rumour & speculation which is always exciting & of course, keeps selling Sports papers. As past experience has shown us repeatedly news is to be taken with scepticism initially as players, managers, Clubs & media leak information - true or false - to position themselves & their interests.
Spanish Club Real Madrid jumps out of the starting line-up strongly after the gun sounds with a news generating Monday. Firstly, the Clubs has a Directives meeting this afternoon to decide the future of their Coach Ancelotti. Everything indicates that he will be asked to "leave", but last minute pressure from players & influencers are putting doubts back into the head of President Florentino Perez. We will know in the next hours.
Perhaps, another issue will be tackled this afternoon. News doing the "rumour mill" is the on again possible interest in Manchester City Argentine forward Sergio Aguero. The player was awarded the "Top Goal scorer of the English Premier League" with a total of 26 goals. The transfer-market price is high - 70/80 M€ - but Real Madrid could make the investment if the possible new Coach sees Aguero a a necessary compliment upfront for Benzema. Lets remind that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez looks like not continuing next season, while Jese Rodriguez could be loaned or sold in the summer.
Stay tuned. Things will be heating up generally in Spanish Football & don't be surprised to read some "outrageous" signing - transfer interest stories.
