REAL MADRID EUROPEAN BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS

It has taken 20 years for Spanish Basketball Club Real Madrid to proclaim themselves European Champions. They did this tonight in the Final Four Final winning 78 - 59 Greek Club Olympiakos. Tonight’s victory was even sweeter for the Spaniards as it "erased" their previous three finals where they failed to win.

The Spanish Club neutralized Olympiakos most dangerous player Spanoulis & managed themselves to put in a flawless exhibition of Basketball to defeat the Greeks in the final.

Real Madrid players Jaycee Carroll & Andres Nocioni lead their team with 16 & 12 points respectively, helping Real Madrid win historically its 9th European Championship.

The MVP went to Andres Nocioni.
