ATLETICO DE MADRID TARGETS PSG CAVANI

News out of France lets us in on a possible interest from Atletico de Madrid for Paris St Germain Uruguayan forward Cavani. The French source "L'Equipe" goes further & writes that the signing of Cavani is a prerequisite of current Atletico Coach Simeone for him to renew his contract with the Club.  

The French source also writes that it was fellow Uruguayan National Team collegue & Atletico defender Godin who made contact to sound out personally Cavani. The feedback seems to have been positive to which the Spanish Club has began the long process of contacts with PSG & player.

Initially, Cavani has some signing obstacles for Atletico Madrid:

• Salary of around 10M€ per season,
• Transfer price which could be around 60M€.

To reach these figures the Spanish Club could consider selling Mandzukic, Arda &/or Koke. These last statements are purely speculative as we are talking about key players.
