Osasuna played Valencia with the final result begin a 1 - 1 draw. A result that does not benefit either as Osasuna which remains in relegation danger & Valencia which is further away from the European table positions.
The first goal was scored by Osasuna through Oriel Riera in the 19th min after he scooped up a "fumble" by the Valencia CF goalkeeper Guaita. Osasuna had more chnaces, post included, but failed to convert. Valencia CF managed the equalizer in the 82nd min through Jonas.
Valencia was very unhappy post match as the referee did not call a very clear hand-ball in the penalty area by a Osasuna defender. Once again, another referee decision to give us debate theses days.
Levante drew 0 - 0 with Madrid Club Getafe in a match were both tried but never came close. It was a somewhat boring & perhaps frustrating game for both players & spectators. The worst off today with this result was Getafe which is in relegation danger.
Real Sociedad hosted RCD Espanyol to win in the last moment 2 - 1 & virtually assure their presence in Europe next year. Although Espanyol lost tonight their 4th straight game they are safe from relegation dangers & have their presence assured in Liga next season.
The first goal came from Espanyol in the 23rd min by Jhon Cordoba. Real Sociedad responded relatively quickly with an equalizer from Canales that will be given as an own goal to Espanyol player Lanzarote in the 32nd min as an own goal. The winner finally came for Real Sociedad after battling to keep out the visitors with a 91st min goal from Carlos Vela.
Spanish Liga continues tomorrow with 4 more Round 34 games.
