This in itself would normally go unnoticed, but it is not the first time. With FC Barcelona it happened again & its not the second, third or fourth time, it occurs often. This has everyone talking & no one has hit the nail on what it can be. Not even the medical team.
The player himself has been naturally questioned by the media & he has had to answer with the following:
"It happens often in games, in training & when I'm at home. I'm not sure what it is. I have had thousands of medical exams. Sometimes it happens during the game or before the game. I get urges, I end up almost throwing up and then it passes".
The good news is that the player lets us know that he has been seen by doctors. They may not fully know the exact cause but it seems it isn´t too threatening. But it is a big mystery & has the Spanish Sports media speculating & talking. His Coach at Barça Gerardo Martino has commented today that its something that Messi apparently "lives" with but that it is not something to classify as being "normal" for a Football Player.
Something to keep an eye on indeed. No doubt more news will be appearing in coming days.
