FC BARCELONA THINKS IN VERGINI OF NEWELL S

FC Barcelona needs a Central Defender. The Spanish Football Club has been scouting the market & the prime candidate the Brazilian & Paris St Germain player Thiago has been discarded while the other alternative Marquinhos of AC Roma goes an signs with Paris St Germain. The name of Chelsea FC defender David Luiz sounded but nothing has come of it. 

Now with the arrival of new Coach Gerardo Martino, a new name has emerged & is grabbing the headlines, Vergini, 24 year old defender of Newell s Old Boys.

The player was under the orders of Coach Martini at Newell s & the FC Barcelona Coach believes that the player can fill the defensive needs of Barça. No contacts have occurred as yet with the player or his Club but Vergini is the apparent top choice.

The other name from Martino is Argentine veteran Samuel of Inter Milan but his 35 years of age is a handicap.
