SPANISH SOCCER | LIGA | ROUND 30 SUNDAY GAMES RESULTS

Spanish Soccer - Football action continued today with four matches of Round 30 of Liga scheduled. Here are all the final results ( scores ) along with all the goalscorers.

Soccer Spain 2013

Celta de Vigo lost at home 0 - 2 to Madrid Club Rayo Vallecano. The home side illustrated all the elements that has them second last on the Liga classification table. The two goals from Rayo Vallecano came from Piti in the 14th min & Delibasic in the 83rd min & put Celta closer to the Spanish 2ยบ Division. Celta needs a close miracle, or at least a vast improvement, to get themselves out of the ladder "black hole".

Soccer Spain 2013

Osasuna got themselves into relegation zone trouble again after losing 0 - 2 to RCD Espanyol. The latter with the three points gained today can almost say that they have saved themselves from trouble & will stay in Liga next season. Espanyol players Hector Moreno & Wakaso did the job with their respective goals in the 51st & 91st min.

Soccer Spain 2013

The city of Madrid derby between Getafe & Atletico de Madrid ended with a 0 - 0. Another lost chance for Atletico de Madrid to secure the second ladder position & bad afternoon for Atletico players Mario Suarez & Godin which finished sent off with red cards both in the second half.

Atletico de Madrid dominated most of the match but sinned,  & badly, by missing their numerous goal opportunities with forward Falcao totally out of touch with the goal. As the match went on the visitors got more nervous & frustrated & went down to 9 men. Atletico ended up almost calling for the final whistle.

Soccer Spain 2013

Valencia CF had a marvellous opportunity to get close to the 4th table Liga position & overcome a 10 man & brave Valladolid in the very last minute to get a 2 - 1 victory.  Valencia dominated early & scored first via an own goal from Valladolid player Balenziaga in the 38th min. Then Valencia missed a penalty by Soldado with an excellent save from goalie Dani Hernandez that also left Valladolid down to 10 men when Serrano was sent off with a red card. Valladolid with a man less scored the equalizer against the grain of play thanks to a 71st min goal from Oscar. Valladolid kept out Valencia right up to the very last minute until Jonas got the winner in the 93rd min. Valladolid deserved the draw just for their efforts & heart put in play but Football is cruel. Valencia will claim they deserved the three points for their "never give in" attitude.

Monday Night last Round 30 game:
Sevilla FC - Athletic Club Bilbao
