The Barça player has announced to his Club that he does not desire to continue & wants to experiment new Football sensations elsewhere. FC Barcelona is making an "offensive" to change the mind of Valdes as they have not given up hope that the goalkeeper may change his mind.
While Barça attempts to sway the opinion of Valdes, European Clubs are knocking on the Victor Valdes doors in their attempt to get the Spanish International over to their Club. English Club Arsenal has been very active & persistent & are commented to be in the front running.
However, according to Spanish press their is a competitor in Russian Club Anzhi which offers 10M€ / season. This would make Valdes the highest paid goalkeeper in World Football. The current Football Director of Anzhi is ex-Real Madrid Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos who is a supporter of Valdes & thinks the Barça goalie will be a valuable asset to the Russian Club.
