The news breaks out of his homeland media & also comes from his representative Elio Casareto who confirmed the "spying". The representative adds that they know of the Atletico interest but that the Spanish Club has not made any formal advances with Sporting Lisbon. The intention of the players representative is to sit down with Sporting & discuss the future of his player which he considers will make a "jump" soon to a more competitive Football League.
As with many young talents there also seems to be other Clubs following the youngster which may add some competition in any signing operation.
