FC BARCELONA THINKS ABOUT VALENCIA CF GOALIE GUAITA

With the announcement by FC BARCELONA goalie VICTOR VALDES that he will not be continuing at the Club, Barça has began their search for a goalkeeper that will fill that area. The list of possible candidates is long & varied but a name has recently jumped up the list.

According to Spanish Sports paper "Mundo Deportivo" VALENCIA CF goalie VICENT GUAITA is currently in the front running. 

Valencia CF is immerse in financial problems & their policy of recent years is to sell players that had made an impact. Guaita has demonstrated has worth & selling the goalkeeper will bring in some much needed money as the player has a 30M€ contract release clause. This does not mean that Barça - if indeed interested - will pay 30M€, it suggests a starting point for negotiations.
