According to news coming out of the UK & being picked up locally by Spanish Sports press, Arsenal FC is in direct contact with FC Barcelona to attempt to shut a 12-14M€ deal before the end of the "Winter Transfer Market window" ( 31st of Jan). Arsenal has sent its negotiation man Richard Law over to push hard & convince Barcelona.
DAVID VILLA is said to be real keen to join the "Gunners". The 31 year old sees this opportunity as his last big adventure in Football & can join fellow Spaniards Cazorla & Arteta. Arsenal Manager - Coach Arsene Wenger is also super keen to get the Spaniard over & is said to be willing to equal his 110 K (GBP) a week demand.
