PEPE REINA A CANDIDATE TO SUBSTITUTE VICTOR VALDES ?

The announcement by FC BARCELONA Goalkeeper VICTOR VALDES not to renew his contract has sparked plenty of talk & rumour around "Camp Barça" on which player will be the substitute. The list is long with all the top European Goalies potential candidates, but there is another name that lately is getting news space. 

Current Spanish International & LIVERPOOL FC goalkeeper PEPE REINA is sounding & more so after his father Miguel Reina commented to local media that his son would not mine at all. These words take on an importance because Miguel Reina is an ex-FC Barcelona goalkeeper & his son Pepe Reina began his Football career in the famous Barça Football School "La Masia" where he shared that period with Victor Valdes in the youth divisions.

As you can see Reina would fit in easily within the Club & the Culture as it would be seen as the return of a "son" coming back home.

There will be more speculation to be said & written on who will substitute Victor Valdes, but Reina now joins the list of potential candidates  Stay tuned!
