However, in the 93rd min the referee called a "controversial" hand-ball & penalty that allowed Getafe to equalize when DIEGO CASTRO converted. Anger at Osasuna.

REAL MALLORCA are in "free-fall" & their Coasch Caparros has his job on the line. The home team lost 0 - 1 to ATHLETIC CLUB BILBAO goal scored by ADURIZ in the 10th min. Mallorca had plenty of chances to equalize but they are not having any luck at all in front of the goal. Alarm bells at Mallorca.

GRANADA is another team on the edge & they could only manage a 0 - 0 draw against REAL SOCIEDAD. Not a victory but a point that manages to lift Granada out of the relegation zone & give the team some needed oxygen.

Big Southern Spain regional derby at Seville. The local team SEVILLA FC lost 0 - 2 to MALAGA FC in an expected tough & tense encounter between these two traditional rivales. The stalemate lasted until the 49th min when Malaga defender DEMICHELIS headed in the first goal. More intensity thereafter as the locals stepped on the accelarator, until Sevilla defender FAZIO commited a penalty & was sent off with a red card. Malaga forward ELISEU scored the penalty in the 72nd min & the second goal.

Whistles from the local crowd at the end, this loss hurts.
