LEVANTE won after a second half comeback 2 - 1 REAL SOCIEDAD. The first half was all Real Sociedad with dominating play & a fantastic goal in the 22nd min by ZURUTUZA that rewarded the teams great efforts. However, Levante fought back & began the comeback in the 70th min with a BAKERO penalty & then the definitive winner came in the 85th min via MARTINS

| Falcao scores penalty |
ATLETICO DE MADRID won VALLADOLID 2 -1. The first half was all Atletico with numerous occasions & total control of the match. The first goal came from a GODIN build up who started it & finished it with an excellent chip ball over the goalie in the 30th min. Then a penalty on Diego Costa allowed FALCAO to convert into a goal & second for Atletico in the 45th min.
Falcao was substituted for Adrian due to a slight thigh strain in the second half & Valladolid bravely lifted their game to score in the 55 th min via BUENO after the Atletico goalie Courtois made a terrible fumble. This lifted the hopes of Valladolid & they pressured Atletico to give them a good fight right up until the end of the game.
Valladolid Coach Djukic was given a red card for complaining to the referee

Tactical match were ATHLETIC CLUB BILBAO & MALAGA FC cancelled themselves out in the midfield & created little chances. So much so that the match was boring & without much to really talk about. Shared points with a 0 - 0 final draw result.
The Madrid "derby" between RAYO VALLECANO - REAL MADRID has been suspended due to an apparent sabotage of the "electrical system" ( cables cut intentionally ) that has hampered the stadium lighting & turnstiles. The match will be played tomorrow MONDAY at 20.00.
