VALLADOLID won 2 - 0 LEVANTE with two goals from veteran VICTOR PEREZ in the 37th & 48th min. Both were penalties & the first left Levante down to 10 men after the hand-ball from Levante defender Navarro won him a red card.
The only real chance for Levante came in the 73 rd min when El Zhar hit the post.

ATLETICO DE MADRID put in an excellent performance tonight to defeat ATHLETIC CLUB BILBAO 4 - 0. The man of the match was FALCAO who scored a HAT-TRICK in the 19th, 41 st & 59th min ( penalty ) & the fourth came from THIAGO with an outside the box shot.
Bilbao are suffering from the Martinez & Llorente transfer issues while they await to know their future & are not taking part in the playing team. The internal tensions at the Club have definitely effected the squad & it is a situation that needs to find solutions urgently for the good of Bilbao. A bad image from Bibao tonight.
The Atletico victory lifts their confidence levels as they play next Friday night at Monaco Chelsea FC in the UEFA Super Cup Final. Nice way to go into that game with this superb Liga victory.
