FC BARCELONA | ARSENAL SONG FOR THE MIDFIELD?

The main objective to fill the "defensive midfielder" position left open by the departure of Keita is Spanish International & Athletic Bibao player Javi Martinez. However the price is 40M€ plus taxes & that is too steep for FC BARCELONA, & Bilbao will not negotiate.

The rumour mill is making louder sounds at "Camp Barça" & the midfielder that could be Option B is ARSENAL player 24 year old ALEX SONG. The press have been flirting with this "idea" some days, but it has picked up pace & it looks that it could be happening.

Arsenal is said to have priced Song around the 21M€ mark, an amount that Barça may wish to lower by including their young upcoming forward-winger TELLO in the operation. Both Clubs will have to sit down & study the options & this maybe happening now or in the coming days.
