Prestigious American Financial magazine "Forbes" has released its list of the "Worlds Richest Football Clubs". Taking into account the main accounting factors like income ( all sources, from TV, merchandising, spectators...etc), costs & current debt the "bottom line" balance sheets puts English Club MANCHESTER UNITED in the NÂș1 spot. The British pound exchange rates may have helped give the Club a lift, but that does take away the magnitude of the Clubs figures.
Two Spanish Football Clubs are close behind in second & third place, which are REAL MADRID & FC BARCELONA respectively. As you can see the figures are huge for the Top 5 Clubs, as the are in the billions, not millions.
