REAL SOCIEDAD defeated SEVILLA FC 2 - 0 with new Sevilla FC Coach Michel not being able to hit the correct buttons to get back the early season good Football of his new side. The novelty from Michel was the line-up of veteran goalkeeper PALOP which was interpreted as a sign of bring back some of the experienced "old guard" to attempt to guide the new folk through the difficult moments.

However, Sevilla did not count with the excellent midfield performance of Ruben Pardo for Sociedad & the great match from Sociedad youngster Vela who hit the post early to give a "warning" of what was to come. It was VELA who would open the scoring in the 65th min & then RUBEN PARDO in the 68th min to seal the Real Sociedad victory.
Sevilla did not play that bad at all, but had an inspired Real Sociedad infront of them that was on a roll.
