FC BARCELONA | SUENG-HO PAIK "THE KOREAN MESSI"

I made a post sometime back about young South Korean SEUNG-HO PAIK (17. 03.1997) who grabbed the attention of FC BARCEONA scouts in 2009 during a tournament at the "Penya Barcelonista de Sant Cugat/Escola de Futbol Hristo Stoichkov" (Stoichkov School of Football) with the U/14 Korean Team.

After apparently dazzling the Barça technical team, young Paik signed for FC BARCELONA in 2010 & installed himself in the city with his mother to pursue his "dream" of being one day a top Football player.

The young man is, according to Spanish Sports paper "Sport", starring at the junior levels & has earned himself the "nick-name" of "The Korean Messi".

Said all this, FC Barcelona & the sporting wear multinational that sponsors the Club, have huge interests in Korea & the Asian area. I don´t know how "BIG" a star this young Korean player is in actual fact or if he will ever reach the first team of FC BARCELONA. But the "Barça marketing  machine" will fully exploit this "asset" to build a "fair-tail" story in Asia & thus attract the millions of youngsters who dream about playing Football at the top level.

I hope that young Paik continues with his apparent evolution & makes it. Keep an eye out in the future on the name: "SEUNG-HO PAIK"  "The Korean Messi"
