IFFHS WORLD FOOTBALL CLUB RANKINGS | AT.MADRID Nº 1 ( FOR AUGUST 2011 )

The FIFA backed International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has handed in the Top World Ranking Football Clubs. There are no surprises to the top positions with FC BARCELONA first placed followed by REAL MADRID.

However the surprise is ATLETICO DE MADRID which is placed Nº 34 BUT is ranked as "The Best Club in The World" for the month of August 2011. From an Atletico de Madrid fan perspective, allow us our brief moment of glory in the Football sun :O)
