REAL MADRID DEFEATS 0 - 6 TIANJIN TEDA IN FRIENDLY| CHINA TOUR 2011

REAL MADRID finishes its China Tour with a 0 - 6 victory over TIANJIN TEDA & now flies back to Spain to prepare for next weeks Spanish Super Cup 1º leg against FC Barcelona. A comfortable match for the Spanish Football Club that served to give all the players - new & regulars - a run, a chance to make a statement & to profile the starting 11 for the upcoming Spanish Football season. The only negative point was Sergio Ramos who felt some pain in his troubled back area & was substituted in the 39th min, lets hope it is not too serious as he has a Spain vs Italy Friendly mid-week that he could miss.

Real Madrid 2011

The first half was a practically a "Real Madrid B" side that gave two goals via a penalty transformed by KAKA in the 8th min & DI MARIA who scored in the 13th min. Two observations, Kaka is still way below the form or the playing style that gave him the Golden ball at Milan & looks like he will spend lots of time on the bench this season, & Gonzalo Higuain feels the pressure of the inform Benzema & was anxious to score, frustrated & even individualistic. The Argentine finally got his goal in the 64th min & was substituted.

Here we saw the perfect combination of a solid left hand side of the field block & - I would bet - four certain starters: Marcelo, Ozil , Cristiano Ronaldo & Benzema. All these four "substitutes" had a part to play in the following goals: RONALDO in the 71st min & BENZEMA twice in the 76th & 79th min. There could have been more but the Chinese goalie & defenders managed to stop the great Real Madrid combination plays of the above mentioned players

Special mention to young French Real Madrid defender VARANE who looked solid, comfortable & secure in this match, a game in which he played all 90 minutes & signals that  he may have a spot in the starting 11 , especially if the Ramos back injury is more than initially expected. Don´t wish to leave out COENTRAO who was everywhere on the field & gave a good performance while on.
