EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR WILL NOT CONTINUE NEXT SEASON AT REAL MADRID

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR started his stint at REAL MADRID on fire scoring goals. The man blending in perfectly with his team-mates & was lovely giving the name of "Manolito". Always smiling & good vibes, the player won the hearts of the fans & things looked good for a long stay at Madrid

But with the loan period from Manchester City, along with the current season, coming to its end, its time to make decisions. The player costs 16M€ if Real Madrid wishes to take up the buy option & keep the "good vibes" forward. In fact, there has been a news piece that Manchester City wishes to make the decision more easy...give us Kaka for 25M€ & we´ll throw in "Manolito" as well.

But Spanish Sports paper "Marca", gives us all the "inside" story, or that is how they sell it. Emmanuel Adebayor will not continue at Real Madrid next season. As their title says (translated),  "Goodbye & thanks Manolito".

It´s seems coherent, as Real Madrid look for a different profile forward, according to the same paper. But, I have mentioned here months back that the profile is Athletic de Bilbao Spanish International forward FERNANDO LLORENTE.

Adebayor could have convinced the Spanish Club to stay, in fact he nearly had the Club in the "bag" at the beginning & with his Lyon Champions League goals. But since then the fire has dimmed & totally disappeared,  & his performances in vital matches like the FC Barcelona games have disappointed, the man was not up to scratch. Having said this & putting things into some equal perspective, Cristiano Ronaldo could easy fall into the same boat, very disappointing in the last FC Barcelona clashes, exempting the winner in the Spanish Cup Final.
