I personally find this to be bad news. Atletico de Madrid is a complicated Club with perhaps the most supportive fan-base in all Spanish Football, while run by owners who fail to follow in the same intensive manners & with interests "elsewhere". If there exists a "fall out" it is between the true fans & the Club Directives whom fail in Football Management, just look at the Clubs debt as an example.
Atletico de Madrid has a Club culture that has been its spirit for more than 100 years, & existent way before its current owners. It is not frequent or usual to come across a Coach that shares those eternal values: competition, sacrifice, teamwork, work ethic, humility, sportsmanship & honesty. What do the current owners do when they finally find a Coach who takes on the Club in crisis & in relegation danger last season & converts them into Europa League & Euro Super Cup Champions, along with finalist of the Spanish Cup? Well we know how they feel & reward all those already spoken values...
Talk is that their is a list of possible new candidates like Manzano (Sevilla FC), Caparros (At Bilbao), Unai (Valencia CF), Luis Garcia (Levante)...just to name a few. However, in the last 20 years Coaches have come & gone in record pace, many just lasting 3 months, as the Club is now famous for it "Coach churning" dangers & records. This only highlights my arguments: the problems at Atletico are not "Coach generated" its a problem in the Clubs offices.
