France defeated Spain 2-1 in the Final of the U19 European Championships. Great game from the local team & hosts who managed to win with their physical strength over the Spanish “touch-ball” style.
Spain was the winner in the first half putting in an exhausting 45 min of domination play that earned them a goal. However the second half was a complete different story with France taking advantage of the Spanish tiredness & scoring twice to take the final & the U19 Euro title.
A grand effort by the Spanish U19 Team to get to the final who were defeated by the better team – France – on this occasion.
