SFS Blog would like to give some coverage to the FEMALE SPANISH National Football – Soccer – Team, which obviously due to reasons we all know, are over shadowed by the MALE companions who take the limelight. They too are a great team & are currently in a tough tussle to be Group winners in order to qualify for the 2011 Female World Cup Finals.
Yesterday they made giant steps by defeating TURKEY 5-1 to regain the top position of their Group over England, who will both meet on the 19th of June to settle who will qualify.
Congratulations girls, wish you all the luck against England.

Spain 5: Ainhoa Tirapu; Ana Escribano, Marta Torrejón, Ruth García, Sonia Vesga; Eli Ibarra, Sandra (Meseguer, 56'), Amaia Olabarrieta (Ana Romero, 49'); Vero Boquete, Adriana & Soni (Erika, 59').
