ATLETICO DE MADRID taking a giant step towards reaching the
final with a mighty 4-0 victory over RACING DE SANTANDER.
Frankly, it could have been more, as Atletico hit posts & missed sitters
that could have turned the scoreline into 7-0. Amazing if you consider
the horrible performance in "Liga" which is currently enough to cut
your vains.

Tonight Atletico possibly played their best game all season with a
brilliant & magnificent SERGIO AGUERO who didn´t score but was
everywhere, setting up his team-mates, shooting at goal & gaining
a penalty for his side.In fact, SIMAO started things in the 9th min
with a great volley that shock Racing.

With Atletico in full steam REYES scored the second in the 40th min, &
was later changed with an injury.Thankfully this didn´t hault the side
which won a penalty in the 62nd min (that was not, one has to admit)
to have DIEGO FORLAN score the third. Racing attempted to get
back, but young Atletico goalie DE GEA made two absolute saves that
kept his team in the front seat & whilst attacking a penalty on Aguero
in the 71st min allowed DIEGO FORLAN to score his second &
Atletico´s fourth.
Atletico takes a grand advantage onto the 2ºleg game at Racing to
take them closer to the final, however they MUST make sure that
Racing does´nt do a comeback & comeback from the "dead". Atletico
has all the cards for now, let hope (for Atletico fans) that they don´t
