There are rumours that the Club is already looking at alternative
Coaches & that President Cerezo is “combating” to convince the
“shareholder/owner” Miguel Angel Gil to approve the termination
of contracts with Mr.Pitrach & Coach Abel. SFS would even go to
speculate that Mr.Pitrach will save his “ass” & sack Coach Abel to
convert the latter in the “scape-goat”: both should leave.
Whatever the true reasons are, being true, half truths or lies of what
has been posted here, the fact is that the Club is heading towards
a disaster & to the 2º Division if it does not correct, fix & sanitize
its internal problems. Some people need to accept responsibility
for their bad management & act accordingly to “save” the Club.
The players are suffering the pressures & the nerves of the
contaminated “atmosphere” which is turning their own fans against
them which in turn is heightening further the tensions.

Its John MacDonald, and unfortunatey I am a new "abonado" for ateico this season. I coudnt agree more with your viewpoints, and for me the icing on the cake was the sae of Johhny Heitinga of €7mm leaving us nothing in return but Ufluluzi trying to play out of position to cover his abesense. Defense!?

Totally agree with your comments. Anther problem was the "releasing" of Seitaridis and more importantly Maniche who was a great midfield player in my opinion.
The defence is totally inept at the moment. Heitinga was nothing special last season but hasn't been replaced either resulting in a complete mess with players playing out of position.
And, as for Kun playing in the same game as Forlan last week, I think you will find that Kun was not even in the Argentina squad!
There is no way that Cerezo and Gil will ever leave the club which is a pity.
Keep up the good work with your blog. I enjoy getting a refreshing view about "my" club Atleti.
