Six games played this afternoon/evening of Round 2 of the Spanish
Liga. Here is a summary of results & scorers

VALLADOLID hosted VALENCIA CF & went down 2-4 in a grand
performance from the latter which the former managed to "calm"
down towards the end of the clash. Valencia scored first via SILVA in the
9th min, but Valladolid equalized in the 29th min via ALEMÁN. However,
from here onwards Valencia stream-rolled its opponent with goals from

all
that they could do.

rainstrom drenched the ground to make it difficult to play Football.
ROSSI put Villareal ahead in the 54th min to later see Mallorca
equalize via VALERO from a long range free kick.

A brilliant goal from FELIPE LUIS in the 82nd min gave the victory to
DEPORTIVO over MALAGA: Result 1-0

REAL SPORTING DE GIJÓN
won 1-0 ALMERIA thanks to an early
5th min goal from CASTRO. The victory was well deserved as Sporting
played much better than Almeria.

decisions, which included 2 Red Cards. NINO put Tenerife ahead in the
48th min to see Osasuna equalize via PANDIANI four mins later. However,
Tenerife was playing well & it was just a matter of time before they were
to score. That happened in the 63rd min thanks to RICARDO
