PREVIEW FRIENDLY GAME: MACEDONIA - SPAIN

Nice to be back after a few days away on relax. However the news
does not stop for a moment & the biggest & saddest was the sudden
death of 26 year old Espanyol Captain Dani Jarque after an unexplained
heart attack. There have been too many examples in such a short
time that leads to too many suspicious questions & calls for tighter
medical examinations. SFS wishes to send a warm message to all
the players family & Espanyol fans.

Back to more a happier issue; SPAIN plays tonight a friendly game
against MACEDONIA that puts the Spaniards back on the World Cup
2010 finals road for South Africa next summer. Although it’s a
friendly, Spain wishes to get its game back together after losing
at the Confederations Cup against USA with the important Group
qualifier against Belgium in mind next month, concretely on the
5th of Sept.

The speculated starting line-up is:

Casillas, Arbeloa, Puyol, Piqué, Capdevila, Xabi Alonso, Xavi,
Cazorla, Silva, Villa & Fernando Torres.

Coach Del Bosque will be changing players a lot throughout the match
as he doesn’t wish to risk injury & then feel the “wrath” of their
particular Clubs.

Surf into SFS late tonight for the details, results & video of goals of
this interesting friendly International.
