MOTO GP: CZECH REP - GOOD DAY FOR SPANIARDS EXCEPT FOR LORENZO

Spanish GP rider JORGE LORENZO ( below) may have "kissed" his
chances of the World title after feeling the pressure & falling of his
bike
when in front & with Valentino Rossi about to manouver to
overtake. The fall gives the Italian & 8 times World Champion a 50
point gap lead
in the current Championship standing after winning
todays GP race.The good news is that two other Spanish riders got
the podium along with Rossi, with Dani Pedrosa second & Toni Elias
in third place.

1. Rossi 212pts; 2. Lorenzo 162; 3. Stoner


In the 250cc catagory, Spaniard ALVARO BAUSTISTA finished 3rd &
most importantly ahead of current World title leader Aoyama cutting
back points to 12 as Bautista is second in the standing. The winner
was Italian & current World Champion Simocelli with fellow country
man Pasini coming in second
place.

1. Aoyama 172pts; 2. Bautista 160; 3. Simoncelli 140

















In the 125cc catagory two Spanish riders came in first & second, these
being TEROL & SIMON respectively. The third place went to Iannone.
Julian SIMON has a > 50 pts leading gap over Terol in their battle for
the World title.

1. Simon 174pts; 2. Terol 119,5; 3. Smith 111,5
