MOTO GP: TOUGH DAY AT THE OFFICE IN THE BRITISH GP 2009

It was a complicated day at the races for MOTO GP in all its
categories. The weather was the main protagonist at the BRITISH
GP
at Donington Park as may riders, especially Spaniards were
floored.


The joy was in the 125cc category where Spanish rider JULIAN
SIMON
managed to win ahead of another Spaniard GADEA &
Redding to consolidate further his overall lead in the World
Championship table.


















Current World Championship standing:
1. Simon 154pts; 2 Gadea 104; 3. Smith

In the 250cc category Spaniard ALVARO BAUTISTA did a great race
to finish second ahead of Pasini & behind Japanese rider Aoyama
who opens a gap in the World Championship table.

Current standing:
1. Aoyama 159pts; 2.Bautista 144; 3. Simoncelli 115

In the GP category, Toni Elias & Jorge Lorenzo fell while in front
in what was a complicated race due to intermittent showers. Even
Rossi fell but he managed to get back on his bike that fortunately
was still operating to finish 5th. However the winner was
DOVIZIOSO who did an excellent race ro finish in front of Edwards
& De Puniet.

1. Rossi 187pts; 2.Lorenzo 162; 3.Stoner 150

There will now be a small summer break with the next race scheduled
for the Czech Rep (Brno) on the 16th of August
