BARCELONA are mathematically CHAMPIONS of this seasons
Spanish 1º Division after Real Madrid lost its match against
Villareal. Tomorrow Barça plays with the maximum tranquility
knowing they have the title already in the bag. Celebrations will
be assured in Barcelona as they take their second title this season.
It´s natural. Rumours & speculations of new signings & players
departing leaves anyone without the motivation to go on, knowing
2º place is secure & that there is nothing more to do - bad
professional attitude from Real Madrid. However. lets not take
merit away from VILLAREAL who are attempting to secure the 4ºth
Champions table position & put in an excellent game to defeat
REAL MADRID 3-2.
The goals came in this order with PIRES (16th min), CANI (61st min)
& CAPDEVILA (90th min) scoring for Villareal. For Real, VAN DER
VAART (46th min) & HIGUAIN (88th min) scored.
OSASUNA & SEVILLA FC finished in a 0-0 draw with Osasuna
dangerously close to the relegation zone. Osasuna missed various
chances tonight & will be disappointed.
DEPORTIVO DE A CORUÑA & GETAFE finished in a 1-1 draw, with
the latter escaping a bit more from the "dangerzone" & the former
still keeping its European aspirations alive.
