The two goals scored yesterday by FC BARCELONA star forward SAMUEL
ETO´O not only opens up his lead as the Spanish League Top goal scorer
for this season with his 25 goals to date, it takes him past Patrick Kluivert
& Carles Rexach to covert Eto´o in the 5th highest goal scorer of all time at
Camp Barça. His tally in his 5th season at Barcelona is 123 goals & will
soon be the 4th highest in Barça´s history if he adds one more to overtake
the 124 goals of Mariano Martin (1939 – 46).
The highest in Barça history is Cesar with 235 goals, followed by Kubala with
196 & third Rivaldo with his 130 goals, the latter being perfectly accessible
for the Cameroon International. Samuel Eto´o is on course for a record goal
scoring season with the chance of taking the Spanish “Pichichi” title as well
as the European Golden Boot Award. His best season!
