It´s official , as announced on radio Cadena Ser & Marca.com,
ATLETICO DE MADRID has sacked its Coach Javier Aguirre ( photo
left) after two & half years. His substitute will be ex-Atletico goalkeeper
& up till now Coach of lower Division side Castellon, ABEL RESINO

SFS feels that this is not the best option & the Club should have waited
until the end of this season, however the social fan base were violently
angry after Atletico´s 1-2 defeat to Valladolid yesterday & the Atletico
directives gave in to their pressure.
It´s believed that heavyweight players like Aguero, Forlan, Maxi...etc
were not happy with Aguirre & that may have helped also in the
decision. Now it is time to work & begin to win some games.

Absolutely untrue that Forlan, or even Maxi where unhappy with Aguirre...where is the evidence? Aguero hinted something two weeks ago because as we all know, his father in law is Maradona, he probably thought that they would hire an Argentinian as in Simeone to coach them! I've seen Aguero play this year and he's not even the shadow of what he was last season and that frustration was directed at the coaching staff. That team deserves to be where it is, and they have to bow to Aguirre for having brought them back to the Champions competition after an absence of more than ten years!!!
Thanks anonymous, a name would be great
Did you read the post well? SFS says it does´nt think sacking Aguirre is the best option
Your "anger" should perhaps be channelled in a At Madrid Forum somewhere & "scream" at the 000s of fans who asked for Aguirre head.
SFS is a peaceful site that discusses Football in a gentlemanly manner
Thanks for your comments
