The 2ºhalf was a tough affair, with chances to both side & clear
opportunities for Valencia, but Football can be cruel & while
Valencia were thinking og "Wonderland", Sevilla defender
SQUILLACI scored in the 89th min to take the game into a
2-1 scoreline & knockout Valencia from the Spanish Cup.
SEVILLA FC go onto the Semi-Final, & will meet Athletic de
Bilbao. Great comeback.

Then things chanced dramatically, CORO (below) scored in the 58th
min for Espanyol with a defelected shot, Barça defender Puyol injuried
himself & CALLEJON cracked an outside shot in the 69th min to put in
Espanyol´s 2ºgoal & the nerves into the Barça team. So justified were the
Barça worries that a further goal from Espanyol would give them the
semi-final birth, Barça Coach Guardiola brought in the big guns Iniesta &
Eto´o to hold back Espanyol.

threw everything for the needed decisive goal. But Barcelona held
them out & won the match 3-2 to qualify for the Semi Finals
