KAKA has rejected an astronomical (120€M transfer fee plus a 15M€/year
salary) offer from MANCHESTER CITY & take reign of his destiny.
“Money isn’t everything” is the slogan that saw Milan President & his
team called off negotiations after Kaka´s father & Representative Bosco
Leite had it all shut with the English Club. The wishes of his son prevailed
as Kaka looks for guarantees.
This affects indirectly Spanish Football, as it opens the door for REAL
MADRID to make an offer. It is now clear that AC Milan is willing to
sell its 26 year old star if the price is right, & that the player will consider
a move to the adequate Club. The problem with Manchester City is
that it is struggling in the Premier League, they lack a World Class
squad that can guarantee titles & have no mid to long term strategy or
plan. The English Clubs, “we will buy it all”, is incorrect & doesn’t
transmit security to players who wish titles & to play on the World stage
on a continuous basis.
SFS sees the future of Kaka in Real Madrid, it bets on the rumours from
Italy, that ex Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will make his moves
to secure the Brazilian for next season & approach the Clubs Presidential
election with an "Ace" up his sleeve. Having said all this, other Clubs
also see an opportunity – Chelsea FC, Manchester Utd,FC Barcelona…
& may well begin knocking on Milan’s door.
Stay tuned, the next months should be interesting!
