WORLD SOCCER READERS ELECT SPAIN AS THE BEST TEAM 2008

The readers of the magazine WORLD SOCCER have elected the
the current EUROPEAN NATIONS CHAMPIONS SPAIN as the Best
Football Team for 2008, it took 41,1 % of the votes, ahead of Manchester
United (29,2%) & Zenit of San Petersburgo (9,1%).

In the players section Cristiano Ronaldo won with (48,4%) followed
way behind by Messi (15,1%) , Fernando Torres (15,1%),
Casillas (13,6), Xavi (5,1%) & Villa (2,1%). Marcos Senna (0,7%) who
was eight.

According to the Editors readers from 45 countries participated
