He is the personafication of his Club, the Captain that rises from the
dead & scores when his team most needs him. By the way, SFS says
dead because the media constantly announce the end of RAUL
GONZALEZ & the player answers with goals.
Well it happened again yesterday in Champions League. Real Madrid
sadly lacking forwards ( Van Nistelrooy out for the season, Higuain
injuried...) needed to win Bate Borisov to qualify for the next phase,
& they did by a solitary goal. Guess who scored it?
The man not only scored yesterday but gained another milestone,
equaling Italian Filippo Inzaghi as the "All Time Maximum Goalscorer
In All European Competitions". Not bad for a "dead player".
The fact is that the REAL MADRID Captain is an extraordinary player
& his numbers have & will continue to shut lots of mouths. It´s precisely
the Raul Gonzalez philosophy, talk on the field!
