Plenty of goals & last minute comebacks in todays ROUND 6 matches
of the Spanish League. Here is a summary of the results, scorers &
imagines of Sunday clashes.
SEVILLA FC did a demolition act on ATHLETIC DE BILBAO &
jumped into Champions classification position with a 4-0 victory.
KANOUTE got the scoreboard rolling with his goal in the 26th min,
followed by RENATO in the 40th min. The goals continued in the
2ºnd half with goals from ADRIANO in the 76th min & CHEVANTON
in the 81st min.
MALAGA finally got its game together & banged in a 4-0 result
over RECREATIVO away & grab the 3ºpoints. The goalscorers
were ELISEN in the 1st min & later in 63rd min, BAHA with a
header in the 39th min & DUDA in the 49th min
GETAFE had the match in the bag when in the 87th min they
were two goals up thanks to UCHE in the 69th min & CASQUERO
a min later. However ALMERIA made ain increible comeback with
goals from NEGREDO (above) in the 87th min & CHICO in the very
last moment of the game. Result 2-2 draw
DEPORTIVO managed to win by a solitary game by LAFITA in the
13th min to give them the 3º points against NUMANCIA.
MALLORCA lost 0-2 to SPORTING DE GIJON, who finally managed a
win with goals from CARMELO in the 11th min & CANELLA in the 50th
min
Another cliff hanger at OSASUNA who lost in the very last
second of the match against RACING when VARELA scored the
winning goal in the 93rd min.
VALENCIA CF palyed away to VALLADOLID & retained the leaders
spot on the classification table after winning 0-1. The only Valencia
goal came from M.FERNANDES in the 54th min from a David Villa
pass.
REAL MADRID 2 - ESPANYOL 2
Great match played tonight that finished with a 2-2 draw result.
Espanyol forward TAMUDO put his team ahead with a penalty in the 20
th min , but RAUL equalized in the 24th min for Real Madrid
Espanyol then went ahead in the 30th min via LUIS GARCIA, but once
again Real Madrid Captain RAUL equalized in the 44th min with a brilliant
individual piece.
The 2ºhalf was a see-saw affair with each team looking for the victory.
The bad note is for Real Madrid that saw winger Robben leave with a
possible injury.
