Benzema for 50M€? I am not so sure whether this would be a good idea. I think that he still needs to evolve as a player (especially at the international stage, that is, delivering good performances for the French national team) to be worth that much. Perhaps Real Madrid should buy him now for half that amount and loan him to Olympique Lyonnais for two more years ( I doubt that will happen, but it worked out well for both parties in Ezequiel Garay's case). As of this very moment, I believe that he would struggle playing for Real. I am also aware that he is probably a long-term replacement for Raúl and/or van Nistelrooy. As much as it would sadden me to see Raúl retire, the "Angel of Madrid" is not getting any younger...
