(Spain) GP was the victory of DANI PEDROSA in the maximum
catagory. An intelligent & controlled race from the Spaniard to
take the victory over an impressive Valentino Rossi ( from 9th)
& Australian & current World Champion Casey Stoner. This win
consolidates Pedrosa in second palce in the Championship table
& puts him closer to the Italian Rossi.

1. Rossi 142pts; 2.Pedrosa 135pts; 3.Lorenzo 94pts
In the 125cc catagory young Spaniard POL ESPARAGO ( below
& left) started from pole & finished 2ºnd with the winner M di Meglio
& 3ºrd place to Talmacsi.

1. di Meglio 112pts; 2. S.Corsi 98pts; 3. S.Bradi 77pts
In 250cc Spaniard ALVARO BAUTISTA (below) finally got his race
together & finished without problems to end up 2ºnd after a mistake
allowed Simoncelli to win. The 3ºrd place went to another Spaniard
HECTOR BARBERÁ who put in an admirable race.

1.Kallio 106pts; 2.Simoncelli 103pts; Pasini 98pts
Overall a good day for Spanish riders in all catagories with Baustista
returning to form, young Esparago with a 2ºnd place, & great win to
Dani Pedrosa.
